It's not the tips, it's the muffler. Once the tips are equal the right side of the muffler hangs lower, thus hiding the left some. I don't have to take a pic as other owners suffer from the same symptom. Some of you may not have a problem with it, but 470 is 470. HKS knock-off distributors may not have had any r&d or little compared to the original manufacturer but at least their fitment is, or looks, spot on. I paid for an original and have to now pay for someone to hack up this thing to look like it's equal on each side.

My 'muffler' is perfectly level, but my 'tips' are off. Looks like in your case, your muffler is off but your tips are level.
Definetly alot of variations with the jig that built these exhausts and it seems to be a crap-shoot on weather or not you get one that won't have to be modified.
I might feel differently if my whole muffler was retarded crooked like yours, but the sound and the cost wholly make up for my exhaust 'tip' issue.
