Get resonated test pipes if your going with test pipes but I would stick with HFC.

I wanted high flow cats at first but there way over priced plus i herd of a lot of them cracking?
It looks like every one has a different opinion..

how much louder would resonated test pipes be compared to HFC's?

are resonated test pipes still very raspy? or is it pretty minimal like HFC's

i don't care for the rasp, all i want to no is what gives the most performance resonated or non-resonated test pipes, or do they give the same performance and the only difference is the sound?

well i ended up geting test pipes..i would think something without restriction would gain slightly more...

i got Megan Racing resonated TP + TopSpeed exhaust (HKS look-a-like). Sound so bad ***, people thought i have a Corvette engine.

No rasp but ocassional CEL but its an easy fix.

i was told Megan test pipes crack after a will, is that just a bunch of bull or what?

no, these new one does not crack... at least my friend had it for 2000+ miles and they are fine.

the old one does.

your chance is 100% of getting a CEL. Better do the CEL mod which cost less than $10
