Default Resonated or non Resonates Test Pipes

I have a Borla TD exhaust and just purchase the magnaflow True X perforated pipe/muffler...(should give me very lil to no rasp at all with Test Pipes)
All i need is Test pipes...
Just wondering if it matters if there resonated or not..
Are the power gains the same?
And how about the sound?..is it a miner diff??
And dose enny buddy have the topspeed pro 1 test pipe??or have herd good or bad things about them??
Fell free to throw in what test pipes you think are the best.
I will appreciate the help guys/girls.
THANKS!

I had resonated to go with my Bassani and loved how it sound, little to no rasp. Now i have longtube headers (non resonated) and i get some pretty annoying rasp. Still sounds good, just not as good as before

i live in socal too, why do you still want test pipes, cops can take away your car. at first i thoguht there is no way they can know but then people tell me they have mirrors..

i never got caught though but you can still smell it

If you have a choice of resonated or non resonated test pipes, get the resonated.

What are the best resonated test pipes? I know that Helix make the best test pipes however they are non-resonated. I don't have emissions where I live but I do need to pass visual tests.

It completely depends on the different pieces you are comparing.
Berk metal HFC's will sound completely different than Crawford HFC's.
And both completely different from the many different resonated test pipes on the market.

That's hard to say, but as a generality you get what you pay for.
