Which are the best HFC for the Z?? i seem alot of you guys with the kenetix and berk.. But while searching online saw alot of other brands.. Which brand is the best making HFC??

Berk metallic

 

Everyone's going to say something different. I have Berk metallics and I like them on my G coupe. They do what they say they'll do and are good for NA and FI applications and have a nice warranty as well.

 

sound wise are they loud? with stock exhaust?

 

i have them with stock ,loud !! No ,beautiful ,,,yes yes n yes , louder than stock ,slightly yes but u can hear the difference and no change in the great VQ tone and thats a good thing ,rasp yes in WOT at the first ,gain ,,minimal but you`ll feel the car lighter than be for
if you want loud go with test pipes also not that loud but louder than HFC slightly more gain but you`ll get more rasp and much more smell .

that should cover all the coming Q`s

 

Like posted above everyone will say different but if you want a great product, warranty, service and results go with Berk metallics. With stock exhaust you get better response and throatier sound. You also should have no CEL issues. G/L

 

I have the kinetix on my setup currently, but they tend to drone a bit much. Then again, with my current list of mods I cant isolate the problem to just my cats, but I can take a guess thats where the problem is. But feel free to check out my videos if you wanna hear the sound of my kinetix cats. Just be aware that the sound I have most likely is not the sound your going to have since I've done almost everything except for headers....
