Mods

How come you ditched the UTEC? Going with something else?

Either way it will definitely be less without a tune, but any guess will just be that, a guess.

Osiris is a great product. Had my car tuned with osiris. If you have a 05 and up you can purchase cipher and display live parameters (a/f ratio, air intake temp, coolant temp etc etc). With your mods you def want a tune because your car might be running rich. I have popcharger, plenum spacer, test pipes, injen ti td exhaust + magnaflow x pipe and my a/f ratio was WHACK. Even if you dont make much power you will have the peace of mind that your car is running safe.

Thanks for the info bro. Yea i know i will defintly be needing all tune and i just love what i'm hearing about osiris. my utec was great but it jus had that hesitation that i didnt like. the numbers were great. 294whp on a heartbreaker dyno is no joke especially on a n/a 350z.

not to call you out, but you made 26? on a dynojet without utec and made 294 (on what a dyno dynamics? Mustang Dyno?). I can't see you gaining roughly 50whp with just a tune. Sorry if I am reading this wrong, but I just thought I'd ask.

yea i know it seems low compared to what i made before but its true! when i dynoed with the tune i had a plenum spacer and mrev2 so i dnt know if the ssv is hindering performance or not! jack himself at japtrix told me it waz 1 of the highest dynoes hed seen on a n/a z. as you can see my car is runnin at a high a/f ratio its about 13.2! wen i got tuned it was at 11.9! it waz also in december which it waz a cold day! there are all little affects that could cause the dynoes 2 b so far off but it can happen! one things forsure my car pulled so much harder uptop then it does now!

Japtrix has mustang dyno now. I have no idea if they had diff type of dyno.

sorry bro not believing it............11.9 is pig rich on an NA car. 294 would put you 10+ more than ACEMAN (who dynoed on a dynojet) and had more mods. Sounds like the dyno was either defective or insanely over corrected. 13.2 is actually more reasonable then 11.9 and will make more power (on most NA cars). Unless this dyno was a dynapack (which tend to read higher than dynojets) I can't see it.

Yeah those numbers seem way too high for a DE engine. You are creeping on 300whp with only a few boltons...300whp was a holy grail NA number for bolt on Z's with the DE engine. It took almost a full engine build to get that high. Your dyno sounds very high.
