Does anyone have the flowmaster exhaust. How much? How does it sound? Cost? Where u get it from? Sound/video clips would help a lot. Thanks a lot.

I am amazed there has not been too much talk on this exhaust. Seems to have hp, torque, and sounds good. Am I missing something?

Why wasnt this on the exhaust shoot out comparision?

Not a true dual!
But still good gains...

But I like true duals with good gains more!

I built a true dual system using a dual inlet, dual outlet, Magnaflow X type muffler as the basis. I have 2.25" pipe with an H ahead of two Bluestreak Glasspacks. I'm using the stock tips. Things sounds awesome and runs great. I wonder why Magnaflow didn't do this, since they have at least 4 X type mufflers in their line.

I am very happy with my Magnaflow exhaust. Basically reproduced the stock configuration with new y-pipe, straight pipe, pre-silencer, muffler and tips. Initially I left off the pre-silencer and it sounded too loud and coarse. With the pre-silencer it has the sound I wanted. louder, deeper but not like a straight pipe.

Had difficulty with consistent dyno runs. We assumed the computer was re-programming. Initially found 10-15 extra hp but when dyno-ed the next week I was back to start. I wonder how others avoided the fluctuating hp gains that we had. If we hadn't re-tested I would feel pretty smug with the original gain in hp.

I installed the Magnaflow exhaust system last week. A vendor is selling it on Ebay for a starting bid of $485.00 plus $30 for shipping (He has another one listed right now). I liked the NISMO exhaust but just couldn't justify spending $1k after just purchasing my wheels last month.

I didn't want something too loud and I am satisfied with the sound. At idle it really doesn't sound any louder than stock. It is just a little deeper than stock. At around 2200-2500 you can definitely tell it is deeper than stock and slightly louder. The car feels a little faster. No way for me to take a video clip. I was also looking for a polished muffler and I didn't like the fact that you couldn't see the muffler with the Borla system. I like the Magnaflow tips. It was pretty easy to install but I did have to adjust it so it wouldn't strike the support brace near the Y-pipe. Also it seemed a little lighter than stock. The stock muffler is pretty heavy.
