I'd go with the MD spacer over the kinetix plenum any day. I've read many positive reviews for it, seen a few dyno charts confirming it's performance gains, and through reading his posts I believe Tony at MD has done thorough R&D for this product.

Kinetics is known for no R&D of their products, lackluster quality, and outrageous, unsubstantiated power claims. The only reason I would ever choose one of their products would be if I were going for looks.

No

I may do a back to back dyno test soon. I have the Kinetic right now and may grab a spacer. While i'm at it i'll probably do a shockwave vs ganna test too.

Physically, yes. But it'd probably be too tall for a stock hood. And you'd probably hinder performance, not help.

Kinetix looks and sounds great, and the quality is fantastic compared to when they first came out. But if you only care about performance, go with the spacer.

Info on the motordyne spacer is indeed 3 years old, but the V+ plenum is much newer, so a question asking about a comparision between the two is perfectly valid. Oh, and please don't refer the op back to the plenum shootout test, because the Kinetix plenum in that test (for better or for worse) is different from the V+ on sale today. Just my $.02

NO. If you install both, the stock hood will hit around the middle of the plenum. Even after spacing the hood the plenum will still hit. The only solutions are to A) get a new hood that is raised near the middle. 07-08 hoods work on earlier models. B) Remove the spacer or plenum.

What differences in terms of performance (Hp/Tq) were there to make the old motordyne dyno comparision obsolete?
