Default same exhaust tone but louder

hi guys, i just bought my first 350 z last week. its a 2008 350z roadster-auto. the exhaust tone of the stock system is great but looking for something with the SAME tone but just louder. i have been searching threads and sound clips for the past week. i am leaning towards the nismo cat-back because it sounds SIMILIAR to the stock tone but just louder. are the tones from the stillen dual, borla dual and magnaflow signal also similiar?. i need some personal input because they are just sound clips and the way they are recorded are different. thanks for the input....scott

Take it from me, it's better to do some research then ask anyone here. 99% of the kids here just like to flame.

Nismo sounds like your best option.

Check on here and with the vendors for a new system.

vibrant exhaust and resonated test pipes--i chose unresonated for a hint of rasp

no drone, very quiet cruise, no rasp, pretty ballsy in the upper r's, and it sounds very much like stock--moreso than nismo.

Go with the Nismo or some HFC's....... or both for a yet deeper sound.

Why don't you just try to get some TP or HFC first, this should really amplify the sound of the VQ. But if you want to get a full exhaust then I think it's better for you to either hear them in person or do some research. Everyone's ear is different and there are a few variables that would make the same exhaust sound different on the same car.

Bassani all the way, I think you'll get deeper base out of bassani than nismo. Same sound but amplified!

The Fast Intentions Intimidator is what you are looking for. It retains the sound of the VQ engine but takes it to another level. I am super happy with mine.
