Default Top Speed resonated test pipes

I bought the set from a vendor here and was happy with the transaction, so it's not a bitching thread. I wanted to know if anyone else noticed that the driver's side O2 sensor sits too low and angles down farther than the other side. My wire is stretched tight, and I can see the sensor angled down to the point that I'm worried about debris hitting it.

Anyone else have this?

These are the same as the intense power resonated test pipes arent they? I'm about to buy some so I'm in for an answer.

yes, i have noticed that the cheaper t/p's(top speed icluded) angle the drivers side o2 bung towards the ground. my aps' do not.

also my top speeds fit so badly that over time(3 months) the stress caused the resonator to collapse.

poorly made product.

Interesting about the fitment. I had a heck of a time fitting them to the Gruppe-S pipe. The passenger side flange would not match up. I had to get help to position the y-pipe so I could get the bolt on between the test pipe and y-pipe.

yeah mine were like that too. they would even rattle on the heat shields every so often. like i said, they eventually collapsed the resonator part.

i replaced them with aps tp's and have not looked back since. perfect fitment, not a whole lot of rasp, good price.

good luck.

Nice! Did they have to take off the pipe to do the work? I have spare sets of bungs and plugs. Might look into it. Screw it, I'm going to get it done anyway. I'm assuming you kept the stock exhaust after the pipes.

Nope didn't have to take the test pipe off. Got it on the lift and drilled a hole and welded the new bung. Cake.

I have a Custom true dual magnaflow 2.5" exhaust. exhaust system consist of magnaflow tru x muffler after the test pipes then two resonators and then two round magnaflow canisters side by side horizontal.

I was looking at the Magnaflow mufflers. They're reasonably priced. Where did you find your resonators? I've got a shop pricing out the materials and labor costs before I sign the dotted line. All I needed was a new mid pipe, so I was going to provide the muffler and tip.
