Is this the XYZ pipe we're talking about?

If so, I want to give it a try. I have AAM HFCs and a tune. The rasp really isn't bad and it's not a bad sounding rasp, but if this Y-Pipe might help get rid of some of it, I want to try it.

Sorry, made a complete mess of getting this up in time.
Config is ART > XYZ + resonator > stock mid > stock muffler
Recording is separate stereo mic.

I only got those two module changes and the stock exhaust, i then moved to the Shockwave with HFC mod and then with regular straight pipes on the Shockwave.
Regular HFC's will give some rasp, but the res module on the XYZ will help a lot of that, you'll also loose some of the bass without ARTs.

Can anyone comment on what the differences are that I might see with the XYZ + resonator vs. HFC section? Right now I'm running Z1 2.5in Test Pipes, AAM Competition Y-Pipe, and a Momentum Performance dual exhaust. It is LOUD. I don't really notice/mind the rasp it has, but I'm wanting to tone down the db's and highway noise just a tad. I figured HFC section would be my best bet, but I just wanted to hear any other experiences/opinions. I don't mind my current setup at all, honestly. It just only gets annoying when I have someone riding with me and we're trying to carry on a conversation. I want to keep my test pipes (eventually going to be ART's), and intend to switch to the Shockwave exhaust someday, but I'm still loving my Momentum setup.
Thanks for the help!
