torn between brands

if u don't have a good reasoning why he shouldn't be listening to me, then stfu and let everyone post his opinion/experience.
25. I'm sorry if you think that putting something like this on a Z is ok: http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_i...0004_large.jpg
bc ur still a fcking idiot. I wanna know why he or for that matter anyone shouldnt run 3"? Im running it right now and have ran 3" a bunch of times in the past. Dont get upset bc u cant back up ur pointless post.
running loads of exhaust systems doesn't make u any smarter.
you suck ***** with ur stupid comments.. the fact is, if the OP gonna run a 3" exhaust on a stock form, he'll come back with another post complaining about power loss. if he specifically said "i'm running FI, or done lots of N/A mods", then i myself would suggest a 3" exhaust for the matter.

hey IMO u shouldnt run 3" exhaust. 1) bc idk wtf im talking about im just trying to add to my post count and seem to know what im talking about and 2) if u ask me how i cam up with that solution i will call u stupid and say u suck ***** so i can try and redeem my coolness bc in fact idk wtf im talking about bc i like dik
It is possible, given similarly designed exhausts, that the one with smaller piping will show greater area under the dyno curve on a naturally aspirated motor. This is because with NA, a balance between exhaust velocity, scavenging effect, and maximum flow must be reached. Maxmood has a point but he did over-generalize a bit. There was no need to initiate the name calling 2004Black350Z.
That said, it is possible with careful design for a true dual 3" design to show no loss in low end torque that you might otherwise expect vs a 2.5" design. Motordyne's TDX Shockwave exhaust is one example. That exhaust maximizes low end torque and top end power by paying careful attention to tube diameter, cross over placement, bends, and transitions.
I haven't seen dynos for too many large exhausts on NA motors, but I do recall also seeing a Greddy evoTT with 2.76" piping doing well on the dyno NA (no loss in low end).
I have experience with the Fast Intentions true dual (2.5"), evoTT (2.76"), and TDX (2.5" to 3") and liked them all, for different reasons. The Motordyne just provides the flexibility to run different setups, which is why it will be hopfully, the last exhaust for me.

Uh, ok. I don't need to know what a muffler is called to know that it looks like crap.
Those mufflers are ugly. It's the same look as all the jdm civics and accords have all over the place. A huge cylindrical exhaust with a tip that's only slightly smaller than the can itself.
If you think its ugly, your opinion is no less valid than anyone else's. But fart can? NO.
How old am I? Old enough to know that just because the mufflers on a 350 look like the mufflers on a civic, doesn't mean its a fart can. Young enough not to make sweeping generalizations about an exhaust's note based solely on similarities in design I find with what those youngster-racer-punk-whipper-snappers have.
How old are you guy who I wasn't referring to as grandpa, and who previously was not a part of this conversation?
