Ebay long tube headers.

Ebay long tube headers.
Yep I have them. Had them on the car for over a year. They still have not broke like all the other headers I have had. Lost a little mid range power but they made up for it top end, and smoothed out the power band. Just make sure you use oem gaskets when ever you do headers. Reuse the stock ones. DO NOT USE THE AFTERMARKET GASKETS. You will crawl back under the car.
With short tube headers and test pipes. Ignore the other lines on it, it is an overlay with the exhaust cams unplugged. They are the lower horspower and tq lines.
With long tube headers and no other mods on the same dyno.

I have them too, megan longtubes Power increase is def. there judging from the butt dyno, but since i dont have a real dyno i guess i can't say. Other than that 4months of problem free headers
One day i might switch out to shorty headers just for the fact that i miss my resonated TP. My bassani sounded better with them lol. Plus ill rather have legit name headers cuz im a brand *****

You use the oem manifold to head gaskets. I used aftermarket ones in the rest of the system. Besides who needs midrange power when your racing. I shift over 7500 rpms now and the rpms from 1st to 2nd drop to around 5500 rpms. Like I need mid range at 4k rpms. Never heard of copper permatex gaskets for the Z.

Dyno sheet uptop. Need to redyno the car with the new cam tune and ignition timing to 7500 rpms. This will give you an idea. No settings on the dyno were changed. No other tune was made on the car, this was just swapping the headers. The spikes in power at the topend are gone.

So u have a built motor? And ur making a lil over 220hp? cant see the graph very well. Why di u choose the S7 cams? also with the long tube header install why didnt u do a DIY? lol wouldv really helped me out. What was the hardest part? i heard most people drop the motor due to how much of a PITA it is

You dont need a diy. You should be able to do it from looking at the engine. You need to remove the air intake pipe, and the coolant pipe on the passenger side. Its really not that hard and no you do not have to drop the engine. Who ever told you that is a liar and wants to scam money out of you. I make 220hp at 5000ft above sea level. Ill redyno when I get some extra cash. Should be higher than 220. That was tuning fuel only, no ignition timing or cam tune. S7 cams were the only ones out for the revup at the time. Only special tool you need for the headers is a 4 foot extension to get the cat bolts off, and probably a swivel socket. Doing it your first time with help should take about 3-4 hours. I ran a 14.6 at 95mph in the 1/4 here. A 2003 350z with exhaust the same night did a 15.0 at 92. A Nismo edition 2008 HR did a 14.89 at 97 or so.
