Aftermarket Exhaust (AUTO 2004 350z)
Yep, I have an automatic 2004 350z but still thinking of adding an aftermarket exhaust onto it
wouldn't want something super loud but some solid growling would be great lol
How do I choose the best one? There seems to be a big range.

Sorry, and thanks
A) Budget would be about no more than $1000AUD - Generally I just want to add some sound to it, its an auto tourer so nothing fancy needed just something I'll love the sound of
(~$800USD)
B) Definitely dual mufflers
If I check out exhaust vids on youtube is there a difference between how a manual 350z exhaust would sound compared to an auto 350z exhaust would sound?
(Oh and if I can get some performance bonuses that'd be great too but not a #1 on my list)

youtube search for sound... We can't tell you what you like. There's a big range because everyone has different taste. My opinion, HKS.
Edit: Just read your post above. 800$? Search for a used Nismo with TP's. If not then TurboXS isn't bad, use stock cats.

I would recommend you search the exhaust section of this forum first. look at the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust (it's pretty loud tho) - I think you can buy a new one for around $900 USD.
The engineers for the new Camaro actually spent and bunch of R&D to ensure that the manual camaros had a much more deeper aggressive exhaust note in comparision to the automatic Camaros stock exhasut system. im sure with aftermarket it wouldn't make a difference.
Just some useless information that i keep in my head
look for a 3 minute clip on youtube.. just search 'bassani exhaust 350z' or something similar. that's what I have on order. it is just barely higher then the price point you set, but I think you will be thrilled with the note it produces.
for your price range, very little, if any, gains would be made. you should check out the top of this section, which would provide you with a ton of information and sound clips.
search on ebay for "x02 exhaust 350z". Those are the best bang for the buck exhaust and many members here rocking it. Looks great and sound great too! Not sure about shipping to Ozzie
