I've also wrapped, silicon coated, and silicon sealed my headers.

This is with the Tomei Wrap (much easier to use) and DEI's silicon sprays.

Let us know if you can install these "as is." Just getting to the studs and bolts will be hell.

They are in already just the way they are in the pics. They look a lot beefier in pic because of the spray, but in reality the wrap thickness is only one pass almost everywhere. The Tomei even though are larger and even larger with my wrap, are well design and does not interfere with anything. My older ones were smaller and was touching the steering rod. If you saw the way the unwrapped Tomei Headers are you'll understand why it makes it nearly impossible to wrap and why it looks so big (nearly took 5 hours to come up with a wrapping scheme that worked).

Here is a link to a thread in the NA section with the results, dyno, and soundclip.

Good results. Looks like you'll definitely benefit from a good tune. Is your baseline 249 plain-o stock?

no not stock, test pipes, turbo xs cat back, mishimoto intake

As far as the headers go, I am not too worried...if they break or whatever happens I'll just buy the longtubes...

I see, it's surprising to see that your TQ variation from run to run is almost 15TQ diff through alot of the revband. I've never seen that before. Is your dyno SAE corrected?

Any reason why you didn't add a plenum spacer to your car? What year is your car?

I see, forgot about that post

Not that I'm saying their dyno is unreliable but it is good for you to know if it is SAE corrected or not. It usually tells you at the bottom of the dyno where the legend is at for each of the Trends with the run conditions.

If the runs you are doing are no load runs then you may not see any differences when you compare the two graphs for the impact on performance wheels have. Here is a link to a post on g35driver where Hydrazine from Motordyne and myself have done comparing wheel size to dyno results.

You will feel the difference in power in the midrange with the Headers. I sure noticed it when they got installed.
