Default Typhoon vs. Other KN intake

i have had the FIPK KandN intake for about 3 months and love it the car felt a lot more responsive. but that isn't the quuestion why does everbody go with the typhoon it makes 2 hp less than the FIPK and it looks a lot harder to install just curious.

because ultimately a cold air will be more efficient, and allow temps to recover quicker, vs a short ram

I'd also take any manufacturer claims of power increases with a bucket of salt

Here in Spain, 13hp lost in the same Z, same day, same dyno. I talk about k&n typhoon vs stock 04 intake.
