Question Noise after installing Injen CAI

Whats up everyone? I just installed an Injen CAI and now I have this jingling noise under the hood when I drive. It only does it when I am lightly on the gas, If I get on it the noise goes away. The funny thing is, is that I put the stock system back on and the noise is gone. put the Injen back on and the noise returns. It does it in all gears, its driving me crazy. All the clamps are tight. ? Help!

there is a small arm that bolts the the metal bumper inside the nose (Its about 4-6 inches above the actual filter) did you attach that little arm to the metal bumper (crash guard)?

I've got the same thing I thought it was back pressure reverberation in the main tube It's kind of a metalic vibration Mostly get it when I hit bumps at low speed Thought it was a muffler heat sheal but it checks out oK.

A zillion of you guys have had them for a while what is it and how do we fix it...??

My heat shied would make a metallic noise, it turned out that it was hitting a line just under it. I bent it up a little and the sound went away. To test it out, take the heat shield off and drive around it the sound is still there then it is coming from another source.

Everything is tight. All the hose clamps, the bracket under the bumper, the 2 heatshield bolts. I am going nuts now, But check this out.... I was running it as a CAI with the filter in front of the grille, now I changed it to a short ram and the noise is still there only it has a slightly higher tone, but the source of the noise seems to have moved. It is almost as if the noise is from the filter. I am going to remove the filter and drive up my road. I will let you guys know what happens. Peace.

Is it a hissing sound? If so, it's normal. Just a reminder, don't set it up as a short ram. My Service Engine Soon light turned on and off randomly when I had the intake set up this way.

I'd go with BigShow's suggestion and try to reposition the MAF- if the harness is facing upwards it may be hitting the hood.

I have the same jingling sound. I have checked all my clamps and tighten them but it doesn't seem to help. I will try repositioning the maf and see what happens.

Default LeighJr might have something!

Dude you might have solved my problem!! I did notice when I checked my oil that #1 the dipstick is unlike anything I have seen! Is it supposed to be that hard to take out??

And I does lay against my Injen tube! I will try to move it and let you know!
