divider shouldn't realy mather as long as it can hold the oil, and you can see the oil leavel in it, greddy is too small, fills up to quick for turbo cars just some thing to think about if your going turbo on the Z

It seems to me like you'd want to prevent the oily air entering the catch can from just getting sucked right back up the outlet. I'd think you'd want some sort of vortex or divider in there to separate the intake side and outlet side as much as possible. This would drop the maximum amount of oil in the can while allowing the air to escape.

Just a guess.

I really love the look of that Cusco, but it's expensive.

You guys do know the you can have your pcv vent to air. The pcv is the hose on the back side of the intake pipe right before the Throttlebody. All you have to do is cap off the back of the plastic intake with a grommet and put a little mini breather on the pcv to vent to air. I normally recommend this when I port the upper intake. The problem with the oil catch is that it slows down the pcv system and creates positive crank case pressure which is a bad thing. With oil going into your intake, it will eventually smudge up your throttlebody and glaze your intake and even get to the intake ports on the heads. Just pop a $10 breather on the end of that tube and a cap on the back of the intake and be done with it! Problem solved... You wont see and check engine lights or anything either.

If you vent the pvc valve to the air wouldn't that mean that it would be shooting out oil all over the place causing a big mess?

Not with a filter, it doesn't build up enough pressure this way and vents lightly...

No, Actually for supercharged cars it is reccommended. With a S/C car you will build up a lot of positive crank case pressure.
