Default HKS Hi Power Or Nismo S-Tune

Hey guys,

I currently have the Nismo S-Tune Catback on my car. I love the sound of it but was wondering if I should make a change...looking for something a bit more aggressive/louder sounding.

I was curious if anyone would recommend the HKS Hi Power over the Nismo S-Tune...whether its based on sound, performance, quality etc.

A) So Im basically wondering if the HKS Hi Power would yield more power?

B) Better sound? (Subjective I know...louder? more aggressive? deeper? etc)

Thanks in advance.

I am in the process of changing from Nismo to HKS on my 07. I won't be picking the car up until later in the week though.
I can tell you the HKS sounded absolutely awesome on my 03. I expect it to be louder on my 07, but hopefully not too much.

Thanks for the opinion.

Is there anyone who can say that the True Dual HKS would give more power than the Nismo? Thanks.

i hear ALOT of people talking about loss of torque with the hks

is this "loss" still live-able?

i dont want to lose any driveability with the HKS

what if i told you the hks gives 2 more horsepower over nismo, would you buy the hks?

unless you have a turbocharged engine, the different exhaust systems will give you just about nothing in terms of a "noticeable" increase in horsepower.

and I heard the hks in person, I think it sounds like garbage.

HKS is much louder than the NISMO but the horsepower differences all things being equal are quite minimal.

I personally love the way the HKS sounds and would recommend it if you can afford it.

Get HKS, I own it and love it. Sounds louder than the nismo. But if I could do it again Id go single. but its your car, go with what you like better.

Was about to start a new thread, but I SEARCHED first

So I'm in the same shoe as OP.

I currently have Nismo exhaust with Berk HFCs and wanted to change to HKS Hi power exhaust. But I wonder if it is worth it.

I'm looking for better sound and more hp gain plus better looking exhaust.

I wanted to get rid of the Nismo because the tips are crooked

So I need new exhaust regardless. Thanks.
