Thanks. I'm going to order the Tomei TPs from Z1 next month. Adam, from Z1, informed me that they'll fit the exhaust.

Well I installed my Bassani and at first impression it sounds good but its pretty quiet I was hoping it would be substantially louder than stock and maybe it just needs to wear in a little bit but I think it def could have some more volume, I am hoping that once I put on test pipes it will get loud....

^^ Mine was the same way..It'll get louder in a week, just give it some time for everything to settle in. It sounds meaner with HFCs or TPs.

I think Fast Intentions and Megan are the best resonated ones to get, any help??

dude...if u could only hear mine. it's LOUD with test pipes. it's raspy inside, but not too bad from the outside. it's sort of hard to describe. very deep and very loud. i'm going to make an hd video hopefully tomorrow or monday.

with the aam test pipes, it doesn't sound like crap, but it's not nearly as smooth of a tone as when it was with the stock cats... it's a lot more agressive

But AAMs are non-resonated...I am going to go with resonated so its a lil quieter without the rasp. I just dont know which ones to choose, Ive been looking at Megan,IntensePower, Fast Intentions, and Kinetix...I just need to choose some now

AAM TPs sound nice, I remember seeing a video of them on youtube. But out of those choices, I'd go with Fast Intentions. A.H. has them, they sound real nice.

Gabe,

I said I was going to mimic your build right? I`m in JP right now and I`m trying to buy some Tomei power wraps to take back with me. Other than that I was thinking about buying some Endless brake products since they`re virtually non-existent in the states. That`s about all I`ll be able to fit in my check-in bag with the other goodies I bought.

TSH,

Tomei TPs come resonated and non-resonated. Check Gabe`s garabe and mine. Contact Adam from Z1 performance for more info.

Hope it helps.

How funny, I just came back from Japan on Saturday.

Concerning the resonated Tomei's I'm not sure if they make any. The ones I have are the resonated Ichiba one. I have them to hold me over until I see what MD comes out with in the next couple of months, if not then I'll be purchasing the Tomei ones.

Concerning the Resonated and Non-resonated pipes, I have both and honestly there is only a very small difference between the two.

Tomei doesnt make resonated as far as Ive seen through my search. I dont want my exhaust to be raspy, a friend here told me that I should def go with resonated because straight-throughs are pretty noise and raspy throughout the R's where the resonated ones have very little rasp until they warm up, I was thining Intense RTPs since they are made by TopSpeed and are also on a very good discount to forum members! They told me I might want to pick up Non-Foulers but I thought that only 06+ had issues with CEL??

LOL. Well, I have inbound straight through TPs.

Z-Dub you need to upp that vid bro. I`m curious as to the sound your setup is making.

Found this on Utube. A Z with Tomei headers, TPs, and HKS Hi power. Sounds good but I wonder how it would sound with the Bassani thrown in there.
