Default "That metal clanging sound"

Does anyone else have that metallic clanging/shaking sound when they accelerate or let RPMs fall slowly? I notice it alot at low speeds and it's loud as hell when you drive by another car or a wall/median on the road. It sounds like a tin can and it's hard to ignore.

I really want to know how to get rid of this sound without overhauling any systems completely. Does anyone know what actually causes this noise?

Thanks

Exhaust hitting the rear sway bar? You really need to provide more detail on your car's mods to get any sort of answer...

I have a stock 350Z as far as exhaust goes, so I'm not sure what would be causing this noise...

Is it a rattling/poping sound? Are you running TPs or HFCs?

Check to see if your exhaust is hitting either the sway bar in the rear, or the EVAP canister (little black metallic square box by the arm of the exhaust right before the muffler).
