Default Fujita CAI

Anyone have any input on the fujita CAI for the Non-HR engines? How does it perform any complaints?

Isn't the OEM intake the best performing unless you go FI?

A plenum spacer with the Fujita intake creates interference between the crankcase breather tube on the intake and the underside of the hood.

A plenum spacer lifts up the upper half of the intake manifold, including the throttle body. Due to the position of the breather tube on the intake, this will make contact with the hood.

I have the Fujita and a 5/16 Motordyne plenum spacer. And I have gouges in my hood from the breather tube on the Fujita.

The breather tube on the stock intake is under the intake pipe. So no matter how high the plenum is lifted, there is no room for contact. I can't seem to understand why Fujita did not replicate this layout.

I have a $30 ebay 2 piece long tube cold air intake (AEM style) sitting in my garage (used for research). It has the breather tube underneath the intake.

Fujita looks great and sounds great.

Sound resonating inside the Fujita aluminum intake tube around 5500rpm under full throttle is music to the ears.

sorry to bring up an old thread but your saying a 5/16 motordyne plenum spacer will not work with a fujita short ram without rubbing the hood? Can someone confirm this because i just bought a fujita and i have a motordyne spacer Thanks

I've seen mixed opinions on revups and intakes. I'd like to get a new intake as well even if it's for the sound. (as long as I don't lose any power/tq)

Not sure about the fujita and the spacer though.
