Default Kinetix HFCs - Long-Term Assessment

Does anyone have long-term experience using Kinetix high-flow cats, and can speak about their reliability (prone to cracking, leaking, metal substrates coming loose / rattling?).

Thanks!

i would go with FAST INTENTIONS RESONATED TEST PIPES! or HFC's

little on the pricy side. but you get what you pay for. top notch stuff!

PLUS lifetime warrenty. so if you get any crackin or watever they replace it!

best of both worlds lol

I've had Kinetix HFC for about 4 1/2 yrs now. The mount on one of the HFC broke and put a hole in the cat at the HFC weld spot. Had the braket re-welded back in over the hole and I've been good for 2 yrs now. I have yet to smog it, so we'll see

I had some. 19,000 miles before failing internally. Rattled like a SOB.

mine i think have about 15k NA miles on it, but will soon have my FI Z back... keeping them on as the yearly check in the UK includes emission tests, and with test pipes it would fail. I'd get more power with the test pipes though. Maybe I'll get test pipes, then swap the hfc before the test (or maybe i can try and find a place who are more relaxed about it LOL
