Default nismo exhaust 2006 350z, need some help, don't want to get ripped

Hi all,

I am fairly new to the car market itself and the Z car. Last time I was in one might have been 10 years ago with an uncle. I am looking at getting a 2006 version that seems to have a nismo exhaust on it. I don't know much about car modifications yet but this stood out and I wanted some feedback on it. The pipes in the back are coming out at an odd angle which to me doesn't look normal or aesthetically correct. I am wondering if this was a poor installation job or if people had this done as a design change, or is there something wrong with this car? The price is good which is why I am considering it.

I have looked at a few Zs at dealerships and several pictures of nismo installed exhausts and all of them seem to fit properly to the Z design and come straight out from the back rather than form a V shape like this one. There is a link to a picture below, if you could tell me why it is this way...it would greatly help me.

Yes I am a newbie, bare with me and excuse anything I say that may sound inexperienced or stupid.

That isn't a nismo exhaust.

It's definitely supposed to be that way - thats the way this specific exhaust was designed. Some people like it, some don't.

Do not know what exhaust this is. No big deal. You can buy a cat-back exhaust for about $1,000.

A car can be changed once he buys it...just grab some new rims and a body kit and your golden!

Well the OP doesn't own that car and the person who built it has no taste. ( well maybe he had better wheels that he removed before trade in)
