Gruppe M Carbon intake installed
here is the link

I knew it would be worth buying this just so when i popped the hood i could see the look on someones face! all i can say is that NO picture can do this justice. i didn't even want to install it. i wanted to keep it on my desk. its the highest quality carbon fiber example i have ever seen. My VeilSide exhaust is so loud i can not hear the intake very well. It does make a "wistle" sort of sound upon take off. the intake box that is behind the front bumper is all carbon and its just sad that you can not really see it. Yes its alot of money..but i like exclusive items like this.
Take care,
John

i have not dyno'd it yet. i will. i wish i could afford to dyno after each modification. It feels fast at higher RPM's
There is a noticable change...not TOO much..but something is different. i would like to have installed it before the exhaust to see what just the intake feels like. I think www.intensepower.com has them sitting there in stock ready to ship out.
just a recomendation:
since this requires you to take off your bumper...don't install it until you purchase everything your going to install that requires removing the bumper...i know i wish i had done that.

So all of you guys that have this - you like it / happy with it ? I know its not cheap. Was going to get one a while back when they first came out but decided to wait on it.
Also, does the scoop clear the bumper mounted front plate for sure ?

Honestly, I don't think even the fan will help on the dyno, but the shop we use has a HUGE one.
Hopefully will get over there this weekend for a test.
Next up will be the ground wires and crank pulley - gets a bit expensive at $100 a pop to go for each individual mod
What do you all suggest for the dyno? Should be do the intake as a standalone mod, or consolidate it with either the pulley and/or ground wires. If done as astandalone, we would probably then do the pulley and ground wires together as one dynoed mod
Let us know before I book the appt
thanks

.Adam- Do the intake only if possible. Be nice to see the numbers on the intake as a stand alone.
