Default What Bassani Exhaust is this?

Any idea what Bassani exhaust they are talking about on this post. It's old so I can't exhaust ask and all the pictures/videos no longer work.

Are they talking about the Bassani 350Z5? Any comments/input on that specific exhaust?

Anyone have any decent pictures of this installed?

That would be the Bassani part number. There is only 1 Bassani exhaust for the Z.

I've had one for over a year and I love it.

This is what scares me about buying an exhaust.

In my opinion this sounds amazing

This sounds like crap to me

Aren't those both the exact same exhausts? They are both on 07s.

the one in the second vid has non resonated test pipes. If you go with resonated test pipes of HFC's it'll still sound sick. You could stay with the stock cats but power wise you wont really gain anything even with an aftermarket exhaust

would Megan Racing Resonated test pipes be good bang for the buck with a bassani exhaust. Looking to get the best performance but like the sound of the bassani exhaust and don't want anything really loud.

I've had this exhaust on for a year now with no issues whatsoever. It sounds great; up to 3500 or so it sounds more or less stock, and 5000 and above it really screams. I have no rasp, and very little droning issues to speak of, either. (everything else on my car is stock) If you search you should also find a couple of dyno pulls that reflect ~10 whp gains. Great exhaust system imho.

by the way, my car is an '08 HR

Megan products are known to have problems, although there are a few people on here that have Megan stuff and havent had a problem yet. IMO its not worth the risk. Spend the next day or two going through every thread related to test pipes to learn more about them and who makes them and which ones are more reliable than others

+1. The only "drone" that I seem to get is if I'm running 60 or under in 6th gear and accelerate. Once I let up, it stops. I actually kind of like the sound. It's never constant though.
