So last year I had Stillen True Duals and helix non resonated test pipes on my car and it sounded great, anyways long story short had to swap back to stock due to financial issues and sold the whole set up. Last week I found the exact same set up plus Stillen headers on CL so I picked them up and had the whole set up installed. I thought it was going to sound even better now after adding headers to the set up but NO, it sounds like crap!! The rasp is horrible at around 3k. Would adding headers to the exact same set up make such a difference in the raspiness? Is anyone else having this issue and will adding resonated test pipes fix this issue?

 

Yeppers, resonated tp's usually take away most of the rasp.

Welcome. Maybe you can find a take-off OEM exhaust in the marketplace.
