Time to replace/clean Nismo cold air intake
Alright everybody its about time I change my nismo cold air intake filters on my 07 350z. only problem is that i could not find a nismo replacement filters.
now i know they are dry air filters and cleanable/reusable.
before anybody jumps with how about search that thing (I DID MY HOMEWORK AND SEARCHED ALOT BUT NO CLEAR ANSWER)
so out of those options what seems more right to do:
1) get the exact dimensions and try to get an AEM replacement filters, but would that work with the nismo pipings?
2) get the AEM cleaning solutions and follow the cleaning procedure?
i appreciate any input/solutions, just had a hard time searching and searching but still no good solution or recommendation.
thanks alot guys

1) Nismo dual intakes are not true cold air intakes. filters are still located in the engine bay. (i used to have them, and now have the stillen G3 cai)
2) the AEM cleaning solution works just fine and cleans the filters really well. takes a few minutes to clean, then you have to let the filters dry. i'd recommend you do that first, before throwing down some cash on replacement filters. that is, unless your existing filters are just shot to crap and uncleanable.

To be honest, you should just use the AEM dry filter cleaner kit, although you should note the following:
NOTE: The high performance air filters included in this intake kit are fully serviceable and re-usable. The air filters are dry performance filters, do not oil! Visually check the air filters at every oil change. Under normal street driving conditions, the air filter service interval can be as long as 40,000 miles.
