What is the OEM exhaust piping size?

Were at you placing it because i see you got agency power-exhaust right? if so it would depend were you are putting it at.

 

I do have a AP but I have the stock exhaust on now and going to have the factory resonator moved up closer to the Y pipe and place the cutout where the resonator was. But I need to know the exhaust size lol.

 

then it 2.25 because if you look at any dual to single to duel exit there going to be 2.5 until you go into true duel which the small piping they got are the bassani if i remember correct and there is 2.25 TD. Im 90% its 2.25.

Well there is one more way you can make sure is by lifting the car up and take off the pipe from the y-pipe to your catback and measure it.

 

2 3/8", that is what my measure on an 06 Z.

 

Alright for the record, the OEM exhaust size is 2.25". I just went and measured my factory resonator, I forgot it was off the car.

Is the 350z exhaust different from the G35? My 03 G35 has 2.5" exhaust AFTER the Y-pipe and 2.25" BEFORE the Y-pipe.

FWIW...piping is measured on the outside...not the inside.

EDIT: I just measured my exhaust and it is, in fact, 2.5". The RESONATOR on the other hand shrinks to 2.25" and then grows again to 2.5".

 

I ordered the 2.5" so im safe
