Default Those with Injen intake or other intake...

Intakes that sit in front of the radiator...

Do you guys hand wash your car or can you still take it to an automatic car wash? I used to take mine to this automatic place cuase it looks much better than when i do it myself, but now i'm worried about the intake getting wet. Should i be only hand wash from now on?

You should ALWAYS hand wash your Z. I don't mean to be rude but if an automatic car wash does a better job than your hand washing, then you must not know how to wash a car properly.

You won't have to worry about the Injen intake getting wet in any method of washing. People drive the Z w/Injen in the rain and have no problems. I have also drove in the rain w/o problems with the Injen on. You will only have water injestion problems if you submerge the whole filter under water.

never take your car to the auto-wash, you risk your rims/wheels everytime on those cheap a$$ tracks they put your car on.

I know i should hand wash it, but i never seem to be able to dry it fast enough and there are like water spots left. The place i took it to was very nice, not just a cheap auto wash place but i get what you are saying. Thanks for the input guys

I assume you are not washing in the sun or while car is hot? Plus, I do not take phone calls on my cell while washing, drying or applying Z6! Get two or more of the "Original Big Blue" from www.vaporcleanproducts.com. Or look under detailing. Another source is www.pakshak.com. You will not believe how fast you can dry your "Z" with these towels!
