Nice write up! I wouldn't go with the Carbing strut bar because I think you have to cut through plastic to use the master cylinder stopper. That's just me.

Decided a long time ago I was going with the Carbing. I'll see if I really need to cut. I got an idea.

are there any welds in the intake pipe where the turn is or is it smooth all the way through?

some of the other manufacturers have the titanium intake pipe but have welds where the bend is located.

the cutout is already there, it just needs to be expanded slightly, and is not noticeable at all

Indeed, the pipe is beautiful... even more so in person. I was afraid that the pipe would look out of place in my mostly stock engine bay, but it looks pretty good in it's surroundings. It's really got me contemplating dropping 3Gs on the PHAmuse R1 exhaust.

I think this picture says it all.

ctwentytwo...thanks for the pics, and yes, the picture says everything i needed to know

i am in the market for a ti intake pipe and this is by far the best i have seen.

truely, a piece of beauty.

i dropped over 2g's for my exhaust, fuji ti, and it was worth every penny. i considered the amuse but went with the fuji...either way you can't go wrong.

Damn guys, you know what's funny? It's that only a little while ago did everyone balk at the idea of spending $400 on "just a pipe." The price has now gone up to $500, and everything is OK now as far as price.

Read my blog in the original post. The pipe is just for looks, but again, was chosen because it's titanium and not aluminum, which absorbs heat more readily. I really didn't choose it for the cool looks, but now, I'm glad I bought the Amuse.

My stock Z tube was messed up cosmetically, and it was getting on my nerves.

i'm ordering mine this weekend...$530 shipped plus 10% off before the end of the month

you wouldn't want aluminum or you would be having more hot air coming through the pipe. rather, you would want titanium for more deflection of heat so the air would be cooler coming through the pipe.
