Default number one headers

hi, i was going through www.nopi.com and found out that they are offering headers for a really cheap price. I was wondering if anyone has some info about the quality and peformance gains it offers.

They would be more aptly named "number two"

But in all seriousness though, well designed headers that will give you gains will run you a lot more than that. Take a look at Tomei and Nismo. If you want a notch down from those take a look at the stillen, strup, or dc. There are some independent tests on almost all of those.

Why don't you contact NOPI with your questions? I'm sure they will back the product in addition to there $30 intakes and $90 "custom" tail lights.

I really don't think the Stillen's are a notch down.

Overall product quality and gains will favor the Tomeis and Nismos. Performance wise I've own the tomei and stillen like designed headers and did comparative dyno testing between the two. The results were obvious as to which was better. If your testing results differs then let us know. More data point is always better.

Anyways, the OP wanted to know about the nopi and though i've never used them before i would recommend him to look at any of the ones i've mentioned as they have been used/tested on our engines a lot more.

As for the header market for the 350z right now, the only ones worth the effort in MY opinion is Tomei. If going to install their headers though I would do their cam header combo kit. Crawford's have done well to but for the money Tomei's rep in the Nissan community is superb. They always seem to tune for under the curve for more usable power instead of dyno queens.

After saying that do what you want, but if I were you I would not waste the time and money on the NOPI ones or any other cheap piece for that matter. They will take your money, give you pleasure for a short time, then you will be wanting the headers that make real power. Thats how it usually happens right?

Throw some test pipes on if you can, the gains will be better than the cheap headers probably, enjoy while you save for headers with real R&D.

EDIT: Holy crap 69 bucks who cares buy us all a set! Seriously if you hate them use them for target practice. 69 bucks I really think they may just ship you a high res photo of them.

I disagree.

Edit: I'm not knocking tomei. I know they make fantastic products. But is there even a Z rocking these headers yet? I see people constantly bring them up in these topics yet have never seen results or them even installed. I just hate nut huggery and I'm wondering if thats all what this is.

There is a member in this thread who can shine some light on this for you. I did a search and it came up first believe it or not.
