Default so I just ordered V2 megan test pipes w flex.. are the gaskets safe to use?

title says it all.. I just ordered a set of megan racing version 2 test pipes (upgraded version with flex joint) and I'm wondering if the supplied gaskets are safe to use. I know this is a relatively inexpensive product and would like to avoid any possible problems.

Has anyone had an issue with these gaskets? Did you use higher quality ones? berk.. etc... ?

thank you

Why wouldn't they be safe? I have these test pipes too and the gaskets that came with them are actual pretty quality gaskets if you ask me. You will be fine.

I doubt they will last long considering theyre from Megan. If possible, reuse the stock metal ones because they are way better than the crappy gaskets you get with all cheap parts

just letting you know that you need to be aware that they may not last you long...i had the same ones and one side ate the cat within 2-3 months...the saying you get what you pay for actually plays apart...just hope you get longer life out of yours

I got some cheap gaskets with my test pipes and had to replace them with the OEM ones.

most people don't realize that the OEM seal better and last longer...but diameter holds back many with 3" tubing
