Default simota intake?

http://simotausa.com/nissan350zcarbo...tem-1-1-1.aspx

http://www.simota.com/main.htm?pid=2...-1&Prod_ID=153

anyone own this, or know much about it? i found a couple threads but no one had much to say and they are like 3-4 years old. looks interesting and an alternative to the mishimoto.

im going to try not to be an a** hole, but if you read what i wrote "i found a couple threads but no one had much to say and they are like 3-4 years old" then you would know that saw these posts. and if you actually looked into the posts, no one owned one of these and had nothing to say about them. its been about 4 years later and i wanted to know if anyone has bought one of these and had any information. oh and also "Simota cold air intake pics for alankim11" is a completely different intake than the one i was asking about, its a "cold air intake"

Based on you saying that there are little to no threads about this intake, I'm gonna go with it sucks then.

I had the full simota CAI. Fitment was ok.

Its a fairly thick wall aluminum piece. My red one faded to pink after a few years.

I dont think its an alternative to the mishimoto - I think simota is the maker of the intake and mishimoto is just one vendor who markets it under their own name.

I have the mishimoto, and it looks exactly the same as the simota in the links you posted. Also I have a simota intake for my DD, and the filters between the mishimoto and the simota are identical.

My point is any posts you find whether good or bad concerning the mishimoto will probably apply to this intake as well.
