Hey guys, decided to install the exhaust today and everything went well till i got to the mufflers. I know coming into this about the possible fitment issue so please no ''shoulda bought this or that'' lecture. Anyway the tips seem off, the canisters seem to be aligned right. The driver side tip is too low and the passenger side is touching the bumper. I know about the bending the hangers trick but then wouldnt my canister be uneven (since theyre aligned right now). Here are some pics and i will be going back to it tomorrow,.. thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
As you can see driver side is too low and passenger is too high, canisters seem good tho

This is the part where i had a problem with. The passenger side mid-pipe seem too short and i had to pull on the muffler to get it to bolt up so i used extra gaskets so theyll actually reach (causing the issue with the hangers on the next pic)

The muffler is pulled back because the passenger side seem too short. The hanger is pulled back as you can see in the pic

My dumbass forgot to take off the lip so i have some scuff underneath

Yeah, there seems to be lot of consistency with the left side being lower than the right on these X02/Top Speed exhaust systems. I had the same system but labeled as a Top Speed exhaust. But that was the only problem I had. Everything else aligned correctly. It was a pretty loud system, although it did net an increase of 6 horses on the dyno and an increase of 18 on torque. I say was, because I recently took it off. I couldn't take the freeway drone, even with tunes cranked up. I replaced it with a Invidia Gemini TD. Much happier with the Invidia. Quiet as stock until you put your foot into it, then its beautiful music to your ears.
Your tips are really off compared to the system I had. Here's a couple pics of what mine looked like -

I know one guy who fixed the tip alignment issue by cutting off the tips and having a muffler shop realign and reweld them back on. He actually put the stock tips onto the system rather than the 4 inch stainless tips. Looked pretty good actually. Good luck with your fix.

How much am i looking at spending here? Say they have to weld some things up and bend some hangers... I paid just over $300 shipped for this, it would be retarded if it cost more to realign it than the actual exhaust. THanks!

Mine were a little tight on the inside of both bumper ports but not too bad. I had the X-pipe mod done and they realigned everything for me, (Heated and then bent the rear section straight). The X-mod really makes the system sound good.
I took mine to a mom and pop muffler shop and was charged 10 bucks. All he did was heat up the hanger with a torch and bend it to match up both mufflers.Mine looked exactly like yours OP.

okay so what you guys are saying is ''bend the hangers''? And that should fix it? But what about the driver side? Not only is it hanging low but its closer to the passenger side.
Also from installing the exhaust i thought it was because the passenger side was too short, causing that one side to be pulled back (look at hanger touching the body frame due to it being pulled all the way back). Right now even if i cut out the hanger its still bolted up to the midpipe. Oh well, wish me luck tomorrow.

this is where mine had to be cut because the pipe bolt piece would rattle on the sway bar.

this part was way off, the welder cut it off and rearranged it

replicas arent always perfect, you gotta work to make them fit

lip is veilside, i bought it off a vendor on here.
Anyway i got the exhaust fixed, cost me close to $40. It shoulda cost me no more than $20 but most shops didnt even want anything to do with me once they saw how low my car is. This shop actually took their time to get my car up (took em 30min lol). All they did was stick a pipe in the exhaust tip and moved it around. Cut the hanger that was touching the frame then fixed my leaks. Tips and canisters are still not perfect but it looks great. Plus my car feels much faster again, just like when i had my bassani. Only thing is XO2 + Longtube headers = DRONE! Way too loud...
honestly if i knew all i had to do was stick a pipe in the tip and adjust it from there i woulda done it myself lol.

it sounds good from what i hear but its so freaking loud with my longtubes. It causes all the plastic panels or whatever else is in the back of my car to rattle/vibrate. Its so annoying. It echoes back there then everything vibrates lol. Im might look into getting a magnaflow xpipe muffler, hopefully that will quiet it down a good amount.
