Hey Hydra, I just got my shockwave installed by precision today and this thing is quite louder then I expected. What are my options for quieting it down?

this thread excites me.

Tony, can you *speculate* how much of an increase your TP *may* provide vs.

1. Standard TPs on the market now for both HR/DE
2. Standard HFC on the market now for both HR/DE

I cannot wait for the dynos and your claims are always accurate anyways lol.

I'm becoming paralyzed by the options! Any chance of putting together some kind of options matrix to help the decision process?

If your running test pipes, just throw your cats back in for now.

I'm working with people to get independent dynos now.

We finally have a new way of making power on the Z!

If you would like to take part in the introductory discount for dynos program let me know.

1) Describe your car and any modifications it may have. Stock to highly modified.
2) What dyno shop will you be working with? Can they install

I'll need to select a range of different test applications (cars of different years and exhaust configurations).

The Motordyne Advanced Resonance Tuned Test Pipe was researched and developed on a 2006 350Z 6MT with all the Motordyne bolt on modifications. I don't know yet if these test pipes will fit on a automatic transmission vehicle but we will find out soon enough. These test pipes occupy more space than normal test pipes.

--------
Dyno Shops: Give me a PM if you would like to do an evaluation on these test pipes.

Tony, I can call S&R Performance of Tampa, FL to have some dyno work done with the TP's. I need them to UpRev tune my car anyway after the V2 arrives. Also, if you need someone to design an exhaust matrix configuration, I can do it for you.

BTW: My vehicle information is listed in my signature.

v2 shockwave? but I want test pipes and I'm afraid that might be a little too loud...
so then maybe the nova or gamma with the test pipes?

but the V2 is the best solution for drone.. what about doing the gamma or nova with the new V2 design?
Everyone. What is your current exhaust configuration?

Stillen HFC, xyz w/straight pipe (and the resonator option in my closed), stock mid-pipe, Greddy SE axleback. I get a little rasp at WOT

I had TurboXS TPs before with the same set up as above which dynoed at 249whp(dynojet). No torque reading due to some technical difficulties during dyno day. Very raspy!
