Default O2 Sensor problems with HR

ok so i tried to install my Berks HFC on my VQ35HR today.. everything went well except one big problem.. I was not able to remove the O2 sensors off the old cats therefore i couldnt complete my installation i tried vigorously to remove them but it seemed that if i tried any further, they would break off. but that just sounds ridiculous because if they indeed ended up stripped, then i would have to buy new OEM cats? wtf?

so anyways, i just wanted to know who has or hasnt had any problems removing the O2 sensors off the stock cats for a HR Z... i dont want to buy new O2 sensors yet -_-

and does anyone know wheres the cheapest place to get one? ive seen the replacement ones that come with 3-4 wires.. anyone know which one our Z's need?

spray a little PB Blaster around the nut and let it sit for about a half hour, and use an O2 sensor socket, it makes the job soooo much easier

There are a dozen "How to remove oxygen sensor?" threads. Lots of helpful recommendations.

Put the stock cats back on, drive the **** out of your car, heating that pipe up. Then pull it in the driveway/garage and take off the o2 sensor.

This is of course if PB blaster doesn't work.

Both of these work very well. Did you get it?

no because ive heard a few stories of it becoming stripped and damaged in the long run for the HR's... it seems like its not going to budge so i think im just gonna have to buy new o2 sensors to be safe ...

has anyone used the universal o2 sensors?

have you tried what i suggested? if not do it. If for some reason they do get damaged, which i guarantee wont happen if you use a O2 sensor socket, you plan on replacing them anyway..
