Default Question about test pipes..

A buddy of mine told me that if I install test pipes and go into the dealer for something and they see my cats are gone they'll report me.. have any of you experienced this? And if that's the cases should I just bite the bullet and get highflow cats..

Sorry I would have searched but my phone is all I've got and its not being cooperative

You asked the question 12 minutes before you ordered them?

You could always uninstall and reinstall them if/when you have to go to the dealership. It takes all of 30 minutes. Prepare for a much louder car though.

No I ordered them earlier today and my dad called and we started talkin about cars and the test pipes came up and he kinda freaked.. I don't go to the dealership unless it major like when they replaced my tranny... I was thinking the same thing just either going in before I put them or just swap them out if I have to go in.

I bought the fast intention res. Test pipes

Don't worry man, you'll be ok. If you're cool with the guys at the dealership, they will give you the thumbs up... If you're not, they won't report you because it's possible loss of business for them.. think about it.

I used to like the exhaust smell too until i drove my car without an exhaust from the cats back and it smelled like sh*t and was deafeningly loud.

Is it possible that the 350'z that have wideband o2's are not as smelly with TP's? The reason I ask is my 03 smelt pretty bad with Crawford cats, my now 05 with TP's smells only at certain times. Like when I open it up after driving normal for sometime, but fine after that, and sometimes when I am slowing down.

Maybe the widebands are good at achieving full burn without cats?
