Default Z1 Motorsports Headers???

Anyone have these?

http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=2237

They look very nice, and very cheap... I have talked to the guys at Z1 Motorsports and they say they are cheaper because of the name brand and are just as good as the others...

Any input?

Lots of headers out there that carry different names (Alphaworks, DC Sport) that like exactly the same. Price is OK. Decent gaskets will run about $100. DIY installation is not for the squeamish.

Mabe I just dont have faith in the DE motor. I just added a pop charger, z1 spacer, and test pipes. I felt no gain

Is there anything out there to wake our motors up! The price dont bother me, but I dont wanna pay close to $1k for very little gains.

buy a used TT, or SC kit. Or nitrous if you want power.

Will it crack? How good is the weld? That's what everybody wants to know. I/we know that great cars come out of Z1, but we dont know how long this header will last.

Don't be down man, what do you expect? The DE has very few rivals out of the factory with it's NA power in the 4, 6cyl bracket. Most vehicles out there have to boost to beat us with the only real competiton in my opinion being the S2000 because of it's light weight. If you want real power find a used turbo or sc kit. But if you want some quick decent gains get some good stainless headers that won't crack, get a Kinetics Velocity intake manifold, cat back, ecu flash. Pulley kit, lightweight flywheel, aluminum radiator and pathfinder coolant kit. and so fourth. You would have a very strong NA setup. I would do these mods while you save up 3500 or so for a used kit then upgrade injectors, pump, etc. though you don't really need to. The HR's have no where near as much support as the DE. They're a better design but like I said, a Kinetix intake alone would pretty much take care of power difference

won't feel much of anything until you get a tune.. might feel a loss in torque actually, if anything.
