Default Greddy SE or Megan Racing OE-RS

Hey Guys

I am looking for an exhaust system for my '07 HR. I am currently looking at the ones listed in the title and I know there is a quite a bit of price range but I wanted to see what you guys thought, had experience with, and/or heard in the past. I'm not looking for anything super loud (obviously) because I do a lot of interstate driving. I am just looking for something a little louder than stock for a relatively reasonable price. I don't plan on getting test pipes, hfc, etc but if it isn't "loud enough" I probably will invest.

Any input would be appreciated,
Thanks

isn't the greddy spectrum elite just a good looking muffler? it will be hardly any different and you will not be increasing flow .. just for looks and a very minor sound tweak. I wouldn't spend 600$ on that, personally.

I wouldn't buy megan either, megan are crap / cheap parts.

Yeah I've heard that its pretty much just a better looking and slightly louder than stock. I've heard the SE on an older Z and I thought it was quite a bit louder but not a whole lot. I want to do some kind of exhaust upgrade but don't want to spend 900+ on a true dual, even though thats what would really change the exhaust note to what I want. Thanks for the input though

When I was pricing the Greddy SE it was $595 or so shipped. I just picked up a full (y-pipe, mid-pipe, canister) Nismo exhaust for $600 There's a few floating around the exhaust classifieds forum for $500-600.

yeah I've been trying to check as much as possible in the classifieds but it seems as soon as I find one its already sold haha. I found the megan racing recently on the internet or 465 shipped so I was thinking that but I'll keep looking I guess. Appreciate it though

Check into the ARK dual, its a little more expensive than both of these, looks great and sounds good.

I'd stay away from megan. Ive had a broken Tp and a broken Y pipe from them. I stopped using their stuff because its cheap build quality. If you want an inexpeinsive exhaust check out the left over turboXS exhausts or a used piece off the marketplace.
