Yea Injen was supposed to come out with the straight tipped ses exhaust but i thought it wasnt scheduled till the mid november, but as always they are subject to change, but its the real deal man. There was a lot of trouble witht he exhaust for people who had certain body kits, it would heat up and melt the urathane kits, so i think thats why they are making both.

It appears to be a single exhaust pipe coming off of the factory Y-pipe. Looks like it splits in the rear. I don't think this the the straight pipe Injen SES for the 350 Z.

If this is what the injen stright pipe for the Z will look like, I'm willing to bet gains won't be as good compared to angled tips, and the sound will be different.. lets see what happens

From earlier pics, that's not what the Injen Straight exhaust looks like. Just think of the angled version's canisters just pushed more inside w/ the tips straightened out.

Talking heh

No thats not a picture of the INJEN exhaust. I know because I have it on my car. Its pretty much like the angeled one.

Except this time its a

-6 piece exhaust
-has flex pipes on the front pipes
-quieter then the first version as well

I have them on my car. So anyone in Nor cal is welcome to drop by our shop in San Jose and check them out!

Sean,

The performance shouldn't be any different from the existing INJEN exhaust. Sound wise it does feel quieter then the previous one, With the silencers out ofcourse.

I'll try to get some pictures up. Sorry I hate taking digital pictures now.

sound clip would also be nice... but you probably dont have that sort of equipment. I want some sound from the exhaust, but not bees in a can sound...

I heard Yuichi's car earlier today- the straight tips are a little more subtle than the angled tips.

Default Just because I'm feeling generous.

I stopped by strictly Z today to take a look at the shop, and mostly to check out the exhaust. I have the full resolution pictures on a gallery later. I also have a short movie clip, nothing spectacular as it came from my digital still camera, but its uploading still.
