Default Exhaust Diameter

I'm getting ready to buy td exhaust and I found a decent deal on a HKS clone. The only difference is that the diameter is 2.5" instead of the normal 2.25". Will this create back flow and take power away or create other unforeseen problems? I have an o3 that is na, but I do have a cai. Any input would be appreciated!

P.S Unless you have an actual HKS system to sell me at the clone price I don't want to hear a bunch of crap. Only helpful info please.

there is a reason why hks has there TD exhaust at 2.25 compared to 3". your going to feel the rpm band shift really high.. I recommend you search hard before you buy the exhaust.
