Yeah, the chop is kinda rough. It actually kinda looks like they stuck the exhaust off a jacked up pickup and stuck it onto that car. It'd have to have tips... but that looks pretty alright imo. If you don't like it, just don't post here. Thats an easy fix, right?

i agree, that last picture looks more tasteful, but the exhaust would still look better in its stock position. how about adjusting the exhaust so it doesnt stick out so much like that? have it encased so they look flush with the side or something.

I was actually interested in doing something like this. I couldnt decide to go ahead or not because i was unsure about sound and performance. I actually got the idea at a car show looking at an old 60's vette. No I wasn't stupid enough to run that much chrome down the side of my Z

I think if it were flush with the body, it wouldn't be too bad at all.

^I loved this post, I almost pissed myself laughing, but side exits can be quite tastefull and serve a purpose if done properly.. Ricer idea for a DD, YES!
As for the white z with the house siding/flashing body kit, I cant believe someone actually ruined a z like that, I wouldve rather seen it wrapped around a tree then a z owner do that to their car.. I thought we were a tastefull group of people, but I dont know anymore.. I guess they must be making loans pretty easy to get now a days..

EDIT: that dude must of stole the siding off of some poor sappes trailer park home to make that body kit.. All the Mexicanos got rides just like that around here fo sho yo..

I went out to a shop to get sidepipes because i´m actually building a flat undertray with a diffusor in the back. Because of that i wanted the exhaust out of the way in the rear. We really tried to find a way to build the exhaust but there´s no way to get 3.5" sidepipes under the car. The tanks are to big so you would have to change them and then there are even some more little problems. At the end i would have paid 5000$ for it so i changed my plans and i´ll have to integrate the exhaust in my diffusor......
