don't ask me why I was thinking the same as I was typing it down. Great thing I like about this muffler shop that it is lower car friendly. Good luck to you. BTW isn't there closer shops to you? I mean nothing wrong just sounds you like you are driving a distance from Irvine that is why.

lol yea there is a shop near irvine that I like to go to, but I would like to go to a place where they have actually done the x pipe work on an hks. Makes me feel safer since you like the work that they did. Also, my gf lives in cypress, so I go there anyways :]

Time to revive on old thread...cuz it's my turn now

My flex pipes have been eating alot of asphalt and are almost gone.

LaoSiFu...do the flex pipes need to be welded on? Do you know how the shop did yours?

thanks!

I been there. Yes the flex pipes are necessary to be welded on. If aren't replacing the H-Pipe, all they did was cut off your preexisting flex pipes and weld on a new set. I forgot what sizes was the flex joints are. It shouldn't cost you anymore than $50 but again here in Los Angeles people say things are cheaper. I hope I answered your question and if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
