A pipe is a pipe... BUT
I have an AEM cai in my car and i bought one like this on ebay to compare the difference.
The ebay one has a smaller diameter piping, causing less power and less noise.

If you think you can handle the horsepower go for it.

If you like the color of the pipe you can possibly use the pipe and adapter. I'd stay away from the element though. As simple as it may be, you don't want a failure there. I can guarantee you they will not repair/replace your engine if it fails.

Here's your chance to be famous. Go get a baseline dyno on your car. Buy this intake and install it then get more pulls on the dyno. Post your results so we can see how many HP you lose in the process.

There's really no difference in the "brand" of pipes in 400 dollar intake or 20 dollar intake. The difference is that the brand names, they design the pipe, the diameter, the quality to be specific for your engine to have those HP gains. With just a home depot pipe and a washing machine filter on there- you'll loose power, and with a sh*tty filter, might even hurt your engine.
If you want to go cheap route, then get a cheaper GOOD intake. Pop charger? But honestly, intake is the CHEAPEST upgrade you can do to your car, and if you can't afford 200 dollars, why put **** onto a good car?

Here it goes, a ex civic ricer getting a hold of 350z? Are we there ALREADY?

We've been there for a while now. Look in the wheel section under ADR, Tenzo and XXR wheels.
