I am sorry for making another which single is best thread, but this one is kinda different, so mods please don't delete. I already looked at all the possible single exhausts, and have narrowed it down to the hks carbon single, jic spartan single, and agency power single. I would like to know out of the three, could those of you who have actually heard them, rate them on a scale of 1 to 10 on loudness? My current dual exhaust is not loud enough, and rather spend money on hfc, I would just switch to a single. I know the agency and jic are super loud, but don't know which one is louder. If you have decibel levels that would be great, thanks.

wouldnt Go AP bc of the hideous purple can. Idk how HKS is on there since they dont make a single. Im sure u mean a custom HKS but that doesnt help bc we dont know what size piping u go with. JiC is a great LOUD exhaust. Iv had AP and Jic. Not HKS though i wanted to but FCK paying that for just a fart can(rambled bc im tipsy)

 

Well I don't really care about price, and wasn't asking about the looks. I was asking how loud they are compared to each other and if it is so loud its unbearable. And yes, I was refering to the custom hks.

Btw, I did check youtube videos, but that never helps. The exhaust sound in real life and heard on youtube is a world of difference.

 

yeah man i have the strup headers, kinetix hfc, megan racing pipe with greddy ti-c single exhaust it sound pretty good. try youtube though. I rate mine like 5 to 7 on loudness from 3k to 4k rpm its sounds awesome but after that it gets pretty loud i had to get the hfc cuz my turboxs test pipes where too loud. oh just to let you know i have full bolt ons my 04 z so it may sound different with just an exhaust.

 

i think they all sound the same to be honest.... i heard a jic single in person as well as greddy ti c... not a diff

any singles that still somewhat retain the high compression stock sound? or is the nismo the way to go...? Anyone have an HKS drager? looking for a deep tone

 

I believe JIC stopped making that exhaust some time back, so its not available anymore (maybe that will make the OP's decision a little easier!)

 

hey rawley_12003, im planning on buying the greddy ti-c single but cant find much info on it. i thought i read somewhere that it burns the rear bumper a little? is that true? thanks.
