I don't think anyone has any personal DYNO sheets from Crawford yet.

Im going Nismo...

If you are looking for max gains from the exaust area...

Id say go with a set of HighFLow cats...

www.performancenissanparts.com has the best ones ive seen for the Z so far...

www.crawfordzcar.com

The prototype headers made 15 HP i believe. And i think 12 ft-lbs.

The production headers will make better gains. And have you looked at those headers!

God damn, they are nice!

ANyway, thats enough crawford hype...The price will most likely increase if i go on...

I think the price goes up 100 bucks with every thread about the crawford headers....

nismo...

9+HP increase over 3800-6200 rpm range at rear wheels

13 HP and 13 lb-ft maximum increase at rear wheels

Equal length tubing, individually hand-crafted

100% T-304 stainless steel construction

1.625" primary tube stepped up to 1.750" diameter

2.25" collector

Heavy-duty 3/8" flange

The shipping weight on them is 34 pounds... I think that is because of the size of the box... Im gonna try to find out the weight tommorow as well.. im curiuos

I'd like to see any header get over 10HP. The board is full of people who totally redo the exhaust+intake and only gain 15 to 25HP.

That is because:

1) You can't add claimed HP numbers and expect to get the sum. Usually combined mods provide less. Sometimes more but usually less.

2) Finding a TON of power just in the exhaust is highly dependent on what your motor is putting out. If the motor doesn't put out a lot of power, unrestricting an exhaust is not going to do a whole lot. But if it is a 800 HP turbocharged motor with stock exhaust on it you may find 75 more HP just by replacing the exhaust system.

We'll see what they produce when the first person gets a chance to dyno them. (no Mossy Dynos!) =P

borlas r the cheapest, and no one has real concrete evidence that they do not increase performance. there isn't any real evidence that they do either, but mayb time will tell.

i'm going with the borlas, because of price and torque gains.
the price is right at around 600, and they claim to gain 15tq peak
