I don't know why you think this exhaust is a bad choice. I like it alot. Looks, sound, performance, price, etc.

My question for you guys that have knowledge of this.

Will the Apexi N1 exhaust work with the Megan racing y pipe.

The apexi N1 says it's 70-80 mm pipe. Believe it's 80 mm right before the y pipe. 80mm equals 3.15 inches.

The megan racing goes from (2) 2.5" to one 3".

Is it okay that the diameters are little off.

I know seen few people with this setup or different y pipe with same specs.

Should perfectly work right?

I think its a bad choice due to the fact that this exhaust sounds like death when mated with test pipes. If you don't plan on test pipes then your good.

Ya i was thinking doing test pipes then decided don't want to ever because illegal, smell, possible raspiness, check engine light, etc. Not worth small gains in hp.

My real question is-

The Apexi N1. it's a 70mm mid pipe. Will it perform good, no leaks, no rasp connected to a Megan racing y pipe that's 76 mm?

I see most y pipes are 3" outlet. Seems like alot of people use a megan y pipe with there exhaust which i'm guess is smaller in size.

I wouldn't go with megan. If the mid pipe ends at 70mm and the megan ypipe is 76mm there is a 6mm difference. Common sense tells me that it probably won't fit properly . I would look into one that has a 3" flange, for peace of mind fitment.

Oh i read off of megan racing website it's (2) 2.5" pipes into one 3" FLAT FLANGE. So the flange is 3" not the actually pipe diameter.

So this would work just fine correct?
