hey whassup Ray, thanks for the tips bro, how u doing?

And I meant high pitched when I wrote exotic, Wanted to differentiate because most the exhausts are deep.....

And i checked out a high definition 720p video clip on youtube with excellent sound quality of a motordyne exhaust, it sounds pretty deep...

And yes stock sounds like a cow, lol

I think i understand the "sound" you are talking about. Some near stock note sounding exhaust but just at a higher volume would be the Fujitsubo Legalis and Apexi WS2.

But then again this is all in the ears of the beholder so...you are asking an opinionated question and that will be all the answers you will get...opinions.
+1 I have a Fujitsubo w/a Y-pipe and I love it. Not loud, no drone, no rasp.. I personally am not a fan of Fast&Furious retarded loud exhausts unless your car really really really needs it...

Look up remus exhaust on youtube for the 350z. It has a nice sound too it as well.

Also listen to this SR*S (i know i know, but just shut up and listen) esp. when he goes WOT around 1:49
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zrh_Q3X4mQ4

It has a nice tone to it....

I know I may be biased, but I swear Ive never heard a Z that sounded better than mine. HKS true dual is one ofthe most popular exhaust on the forum so I know I'm not breaking any new news with that one. It's all about what test pipes or high flow cats your running though. I bought these beautiful titanium resonated test pipes made by a company called UTR and it changes the sound of my HKS tenfold! I don't know that UTR test pipes are still avaliable but as long as i've been on the forums, Ive never heard an exhaust note that has matched mine. I also have motordyne spacer, clutch, flywheel and popcharger btw. The flywheeel helps for a faster rev and a little change in sound.

The XO2 sounds like absolute crap, (lot of XO2 owners want me banned now I can feel it ) but I guess it's an acquired taste... I admit it sounds nice revving I guess, and also in cabin it is very smooth sounding, my buddy had an XO2 on his G and drove me around one time..... but when I drove behind a G with an X02 just last week for a few minutes it was friggin horrible.... like the car was literally farting... it basically sounded like a cheap crap quality Ebay exhaust I hear on some other older model imports around town

there's this guy in my neighborhood with a base model Neon with some kind of exhaust on it that sounds pretty much the same as the XO2

So far the TD's that made me *** are
HKS Hi Power TD
and Greddy EVO TT

My current set up . .

Res-TP's + Trust SP2.

Here's my fly-by vid..
with the TP's it made the tone louder but there's a lil rasp at 5k and up.

@15sec

in the end, it's just your personal preference.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned the TurboXS yet. Its usually the main one talked about when somebody uses the words 'exotic' and 'exhaust' in the same sentence on here.

I haven't found any clips, but I've ridden in one that has almost the exact same setup (Shockwave + Test Pipes). It is very loud, but it still sounds like sex. It's the type of sound that deserves the decibel level it produces.

Wow I really like the sound of the TurboXS exhaust. After doing some research it appears to be discontinued

We're installing a Saclam exhaust on a 370Z next week, I can't wait to hear it in person.
