These aren't HR's though...and doing low 13's is nor where comparable to doing mid 12's at perhaps 5-6mph faster. I'm not necessarily doubting...it's just kind of mind blowing for me.

Meh. Depending on the gear and speed at which it starts, it's possible. I can link you to a video right now on Youtube showing a bolt-on DE keeping up with an E93 (DCT) M3... but then I would get in trouble for promoting street racing. So I won't do that. If you want to see it, just Youtube-search for the user "scrmn3k" - that's the guy with the video.

(In a straight-line race, the 3.9 gears only matter from a launch or in first gear. Throwing that out there before someone mentions it as a determining factor in the video.)

I almost never see E92s running mid-12s (not saying it doesn't happen, it's just not that common). The norm is usually high 12s, and I've seen low 13s numerously, with trap speeds @ 108-111MPH. The more abusive launches net better results on the cars, but that is not the norm for a typical launch. It's also worth noting that those cars can come out of the hole quick because they have Michelin PS2s, so they grip like beasts. Also, not all drivers are equal; certainly not everyone can row a 6MT lightening quick.

It's also worth mentioning that power to weight ratios between a modded Z and stock E92 are very much similar. And like Onagao said, there is a video or two on Youtube where a bolt-on 350Z is neck and neck with an M3. Once again, the M3 is not God's chariot. Once modded, our Zs have more torque than they do and we weigh 600-700lbs less (depending on mods, gas tank, etc.).

first off im not stock.. at the time i was full bolt on and cams.. with osiris tune.. its very possible for me to keep up with the e92 m3..... my high end is very fast... and e46 m3s with exhaust and intake dont even keep up w me to well.. now im vortech and would blow the m3 away unless there heavily modded.

I have a question actually...not too educated on the subject but I'm guessing these ART pipes will not clear emissions right?

I'm glad we don't have emissions testing, where I live.

It's weird cause CA gets all the performance parts first and has the strictest emissions.
