Default Cold air intake TIP for more airflow

Okay i wanted more cold air to hit my Filter because the position its at right now (down by the front bumper hidden by the plastic wheel fender cover) doesn't seem like much cold air gets in so i was looking at what plastic pieces are blocking the way an it turns out that theres two plastic pieces that block air flow and GOOD thing they can be removed with out any cutting or modifying just a simple flat screwdriver. Some other people might have already done this but i haven't found a thread on it yet so i decided to make it.The first piece i took out is in picture A as you can see in the other picture A that is where this piece is from And as you can see in picture B its only held in by three push in screws. The second piece i took out is in picture C Also held in by three push in screws. And in picture D you can see where this piece was located at the three screws for this piece can be accessed through the front bumper and are at the top as you can see in the pictures. The results you can see in picture E an if you look close you can see my filter. When driving i did feel a little difference or maybe it was just me but there is a little more push and quicker acceleration I feel like my Cold air intake is actually sucking in air and breathing now. Another good thing about removing the part in picture A is my filter has some more space now and is not being squished by the part in picture A and also the plastic wheel fender cover that goes behide it. My cold air intake has a better fit now. Well i hope this helps someone out there and hopefully no one flames me well thats it enjoy the pics

man your air intakes looks low to the ground. also the pieces you took out, i thought it was done to direct air flow to the stock housing.

The possiblities would be endless if this energy were pointed in the right direction. I give you props for finding a solution to your boredom and quenching your modding bug, but you fail in all other attempts at whatever you were trying to accomplish.

You have no idea what you're talking about noob, so I will be easy on you.

I've already stated that I've done this as well and it can be applied to any CAI, so I'm not sure why you're trying to flame him for it?

And... If a low post count makes me a newb, then this silly thread makes you an @$$.
